It started with five teenagers with attitude. Tough. Strong. United. Loyal. The original Rangers pioneered what would become a Legacy that was thought to live on throughout time and space. For a time, it did. The world seemed safe from whatever wanton destruction and hidden evil that lay dormant. With Zordon's sacrifice, the world seemed to set itself right and there was peace. But the universe lives in a system of checks and balances. For each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

After the Jungle Fury Rangers, the world had grown peaceful again. For four years, there were no alien invasions. No demonic entities. No strange ninja assassins. For a while, many of the Rangers thought that their time had finally come to retire and rest. That perhaps Evil had learned its lesson and stayed away. The thing about that, though, is evil never lies. It just waits. Regroups. Collects and then stabs you in the back while you're not looking.

While most Rangers hung up their communicators, Andros, leader of the Space Rangers, never gave up. Along with Tommy Oliver, they monitored for evil activity. Tommy on Earth, Andros in Space, and they even recruited the help of Billy on Aquitar. Everything seemed to be fine. Tommy even thought that he might be growing paranoid and perhaps he was just getting a little too old for this when he lost all communication with Aquitar.

Then Andros went missing.

Cut off from the rest of the Universe, Tommy found himself trying to figure out where to go from here. Twenty minutes later, Stone Canyon was decimated. Stone Canyon was a warning. Evil had come home and Angel Grove was next. Then Tommy's old communicator went off.

That's when everything changed.
